I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected for the Creative Reactions Project, as part of Pint of Science Bristol 2017.

The Pint of Science is an international science festival, with different locations in cities across the world, including 26 in the UK. It’s aim is to get science research out into communities in an accessible way. This is the first time it has been held in Bristol and scientists from Bristol University, Imperial College, Bristol Zoo and UWE will be giving talks on their research in pubs across Bristol for three consecutive nights, on Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th May.

These talks will revolve around six themes: Tech Me Out; Our Bodies; Beautiful Mind; Planet Earth; Our Society; Atoms to Galaxies.

As part of creating new discussions around science, the Creative Reactions Project selects local artists to pair with scientists and researchers. Over the next couple of months, I’ll be working on a collaboration with Dr Nello Cristianini, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bristol since March 2006.
